Electric Vehicles are those type of vehicle which uses a battery, solar panel, or electric generator and convert fuel to electric energy for its motor propulsion, These introduce in the mid-19-century when electricity was preferred over gasoline because gasoline engines were not as comfortable as electric engines.But today
the picture is reversed, Modern internal combustion engines have now taken down electric vehicle but some places electric vehicle can be seen such as trains, and some smaller vehicles.

Main Parts Of Electric Vehicle
1- Motor
Various type of electric motor below you can see-
A- DC series Motor
These have a high torque Capability, easy speed control, And withstand a sudden change of load, But having a Cons is that it's a high maintenance motor due to brushes and commutators.
B- Brushless DC Motors-
This motor is similar to DC motors with permanent magnets but does not have brushes which means no friction and no Maintenace. It also has a high torque and efficiency of about 95% - 98%.
These motors are the most preferred motors in today's time.
C- 3-Phase Induction Motor-
It is an AC motor that does not require Permanent Magnets, but by an added inverter, it can run With DC, and speed can change by changing the frequency of the inverter. But its efficiency is slightly less then Brushless motors.
Actually, the reality is that induction motor is compatible with conventional utility power, and this the main reason for their success, On the other hand, DC brushless motors have starting torque when directly connecting to fix frequency power.
Brushless Motor OR 3-Phase Induction Motor
In my Opinion, Brushless can be overshadowed 3 Phase Induction Motor due to its high performance But some Expert opinion is that still no winner in this race.
So the best thing you can do is that you can check yourself both motors and use it as your required condition.

If you want to stand in Electric Vehicle Business then you must choose the right Battery, which is Li-On (Lithium-ion) Battery has great performance and light-weight. But you have to work on it increasing its Energy-Density and to get Maximum life-span and for that, you have to hire a research team for working on Battery performance.
3- Vehicle Body Material
By Increasing the Power of Vehicle Motor you must aware of the weight of its body, Light body always moves fast but it must have a strong property. Now presently the electric vehicles company uses the material Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) which is as strong as steel but only half in weight and generally its called Carbon Fiber.
How To Start?
First of all, you need to check your budget whether you are ready for it or not. Keep this in mind that bigger the budget the more it will be easy and helpful, you have to spend on a research team, components, etc. Many types of research you have to do, sometimes you fail, In starting you will face many difficulties. That's why you required an appropriate budget.
But what if you don't have a budget and you are willing to do this, there is an option which is you have to find the investors who are interested in your project, they are also called Angel Investors.
Before finding Investor complete some legal terms like register your company, get a trademark of your company and its logo, Find a place where you can start, etc.
But here is my suggestion is that you must research by yourself at least on the case of motor differences which I told above.

Bavarian Motor Works (BMW) is a German Motorcycle, Automobile, Engine Manufacturing Company founded in 1916. They are also entered in Electric Vehicles Market with their new series of BMW I vehicle, they launched BMW i8 Coupe, BMW i8 Roadster, BMW i3, BMW i3s, The i3 can go 0-60MPH in 7.2sec and i8 Coupe can go 0-60MPH in 4.2sec as said by the Company.
There are many other companies are now working on electrical vehicles such as- Nissan, Chevrolet, Ford, Volkswagen, and Kia.
What I Think?
As we are seen that many big Motor companies are now shifting towards electrical Vehicles because they know that in future no one asks for Petroleum or Gasolene Vehicles and we know that these fossil fuels are no longer than 50-60 years even in less than the time you will see the results.
So this is the best idea one can go for its business, first of all, you need to do at least basic research by yourself and make a prototype of it, Prototype can help to attract the investors so that your budget will increase and can go for easy and less time. Thank You.
